Music’s Not Dead

Observation:  I’ve heard of cities doing concerts in their cemeteries and after riding through Woodlawn Cemetery today I wish Detroit did as well.  So many amazing tombstones and mausoleums, and the landscaping in some sections is just amazing.  I understand some would feel a concert might be disrespectful to the dead, but I think something like jazz or classical music would bring in the right crowds and these surroundings could be just an amazing backdrop for something very memorable.

Distance:  26.88 miles

D-Fact:  Woodland Cemetery is home to over 200 dignitaries including the Edsel Ford, William Clay Ford, the Dodge Brothers and Rosa Parks.
