Observation: Today’s ride (and subsequent map) was one of the craziest I have done because I was filling in roads in between a lot of previous rides. I spent 44 miles looking at my MapMyRide app and then cross-referencing the large map I am using to track everything (aka, slow progress). Went through some really poor sections of downriver Detroit and trash was just blowing everywhere. Even got down to Zug Island, which I had heard of before, but after seeing it, I can’t believe anyone even lives close to it. It looks like lung cancer in city form.
Distance: 44.21 miles
D-Fact: Prior to the Industrial Revolution, Zug Island served as an uninhabited Native American burial ground for thousands of years.
