Observation:  So two iPhone apps have been critical to this journey:  MapMyRide, which I use to track my path/miles and Mapillary which I use to upload pics to my personal digital map.  Today after riding about two miles, I pulled out my phone only to discover I must have deleted the Mapillary app.  While that might not seem like a big deal, along with it went about 800 pics that I had not uploaded to my map.   I quit for the day because I realized I might have to repeat a few 100 miles of this project, and almost wanted to cry.
